JEWISH AMERICANS: IDENTITY, HISTORY, AND EXPERIENCE
May 3rd, 2022
4PM - 5PM EST
Our webinars are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history, explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex history and its lasting effect on the world.
This session examines the rich diversity of the Jewish American community in efforts to teach students about individual identities, as well as the diversity of the Jewish American community and its impact on American society. Learning about Jewish diversity illustrates how identities, of Jews and all people, are multifaceted and how people’s unique combination of identities shape individuals’ experiences of and with the world. Teachers of World History, Ethnic Studies, Human Geography, and World Religions will find the resources on this topic particularly useful.
