BRINGING A YOUNG VOICE TO LIFE: EXPLORE YITSKHOK RUDASHEVSKI'S VILNA GHETTO DIARY THROUGH YIVO'S INTERACTIVE ONLINE MUSEUM

April 20th, 2026

4:00 PM ET

Our webinars are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history, explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex history and its lasting effect on the world.

Resistance in the Vilna Ghetto took many forms. Through the diary of Yitskhok Rudashevski — known to many educators from Salvaged Pages — explore YIVO's newly redesigned Bruce and Francesca Cernia Slovin Online Museum. This immersive digital experience brings hundreds of artifacts from YIVO’s renowned archive of 24 million items to life through interactive storytelling, animations, and explorable 3D environments. Join YIVO's Chief of Staff Shelly Freeman and Exhibition Developer Shara Feit for a guided tour of the exhibition and discover how to bring the history of the Holocaust and the human story of this remarkable teenager to your students. This webinar connects to Units 4, 5, and 7 on the Echoes & Reflections website.
