COMPLICITY AND RESPONSIBILITY: EXAMINATION OF FEMALE PERPETRATORS OF THE HOLOCAUST
February 21st, 2023
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST
Our webinars are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history, explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex history and its lasting effect on the world.
Nazism and its racist antisemitism pervaded every aspect of life in Germany, and later occupied Europe. In the end, the Holocaust was a complete collapse of civil society. But who were the perpetrators? And what can we learn from a society that was composed of perpetrators at every level? Led by Echoes & Reflections Program Manager, Jesse Tannetta, this webinar seeks to expand our understanding of perpetrators, with a special focus on the women that contributed, directly and indirectly, to the “Final Solution.”
