*NEW* Teaching about Antisemitism After the Holocaust |
In this new course, learn how to increase students’ understanding of the Jewish people and the impact antisemitism has had on the community through its continued evolution and persistence post-Holocaust, as well as how to equip youth to respond to and prevent antisemitism in our world today.
After completing this course, you will be able to teach about:
- The diversity of Jewish life and culture in the world today.
- How antisemitism has morphed in the modern era, including Holocaust denial and distortion, and demonization of Israel, and when it can relate to political, racial, or religious ideologies.
- How to respond effectively and responsibly to antisemitism in one's community.
Includes three interactive modules; approximately 6 hours to complete in total. Receive a 6-hour certificate and an opportunity to complete an optional project to receive 4 additional hours. Graduate credit is available through the University of the Pacific.
