3:00 PM - 4:00 PM ET

Our webinars are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history, explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex history and its lasting effect on the world.

On December 7th, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked Pearl Harbor drawing the United States into World War II. President Franklin D. Roosevelt referred to it as a day that would "live in infamy", but what was the extent of its impact? What were the ramifications of this event, if any, on what was transpiring across Nazi-occupied Europe? Join Dr. Joel Zisenwine, head of Yad Vashem's Righteous Among the Nations Department, to explore this fascinating topic.
