Our webinars are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history, explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex history and its lasting effect on the world.
Prior to the Holocaust, there were thriving Jewish communities across the world It is often difficult to fully grasp the destructive magnitude of the Holocaust without knowing first what was lost. This webinar uses Echoes & Reflections' Prewar Jewish Life Unit I resources with a focus on testimonies from the USC-Shoah Foundation’s IWitness platform to examine primary sources like diary entries and photographs intended to paint a picture of the breadth and diversity of Jewish life in Europe before the Holocaust.
