TEACHING WITH TESTIMONY: EXPLORING PERSONAL NARRATIVES FROM NON-JEWISH VICTIMS
While the Holocaust is the name given for the systematic slaughter of some six million Jews by the Nazis and their collaborators, many other groups were persecuted and murdered during this dark period in history, and it is vital that we bear witness to their stories and experiences. During this special Teaching with Testimony webinar, participants will expand their understanding of the Holocaust through an examination of personal stories from non-Jewish victims during the Holocaust. A facilitator from the USC Shoah Foundation will lead a guided exploration of visual history testimony and activities in IWitness that can serve has an extension to student learning in Echoes & Reflections.
