WHAT DID AMERICANS KNOW ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST?

July 27, 2026

4:00 PM ET

Our webinars are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history, explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex history and its lasting effect on the world.

This webinar explores the Echoes & Reflections digital student activity, "What Did Americans Know About the Holocaust?" Participants will examine how the lesson helps students analyze historical sources, consider public awareness during the Holocaust and engage with questions about responsibility, information and response. The session will highlight ways educators can use the activity to build critical thinking, deepen historical understanding and support meaningful classroom discussion. This webinar will be led by Echoes & Reflections Project Director, Jennifer Goss.
