THE WITNESS PROJECT: INSTILLING THE MEMORY OF THE HOLOCAUST IN THE NEXT GENERATION

UJA-Federation’s Witness Project is a unique, intergenerational program that brings Holocaust survivors and teenagers together to develop a multi-media performance and arts exhibit based on the survivors’ Holocaust experiences. This opportunity serves as a creative platform for the survivors’ stories of resilience to be shared, while also providing students and audience greater historical awareness and understanding of what the survivors endured. In this webinar, engage in a Q&A with students who have participated in the Witness Project to learn about their experiences getting to know survivors and their stories, and creating transformative art projects that instills the memory of the Holocaust in the minds and hearts of their communities.
