Commemorating the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
 

In commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising which began on April 19, 1943, join Yad Vashem educator Yael Eaglstein for a virtual tour of galleries of the Yad Vashem Holocaust History Museum in Jerusalem to explore artifacts, films and other treasures related to the Warsaw Ghetto, as well as the Uprising, 82 years ago.

I Survived the Farhud: The Untold Story of the Vanished Jews from Arab Lands
 

Joe Samuels is a Holocaust survivor who was a refugee from Iraq, experiencing the trauma of the Farhud, a pogrom against the Jews of Baghdad in June 1941. Joe, now 95, will discuss his memoir, Beyond the Rivers of Babylon, which explores his own journey of survival, as well as the lesser-known story of the nearly one million Jews who once lived in the Middle East, North Africa, and Iran.

Genocide: The Greatest Crime

Honoring Armenian Genocide Awareness Day
 

Armenian Genocide Awareness Day falls on April 24th to commemorate the victims of this atrocity. With a focus on genocide denial and distortion in the aftermath of the Armenian Genocide, Senior Learning and Development Specialist at USC Shoah Foundation, Sedda Antekelian, will present testimony-based activities and resources that further contextualize this catastrophe and its human impact on generations.
